Mentally challenged raped in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Oct 20 (IANS) A 35-year-old mentally handicapped woman was raped by an unknown person in a posh area here, police said Sunday.

The victim is a widow and was living with her relatives in DLF-2 area.

"We have registered a case of rape at DLF-2 police station," a senior police officer told IANS.

After medical examination of the victim, the case was transferred to the women's cell.

The victim will Monday record her statement in a court, the officer said.
